Woman ends life

Raj Punia (51), a Physical Training Instructor (PTI) at Government Senior Secondary School, Bapoli, today committed suicide by hanging herself at her house here.

In a suicide, she had stated that her brothers-in-law Ashok Punia and Dinesh Punia were responsible for her death.

Raj is survived by her husband and three children. Her husband Vinod Kumar Punia said: “My elder brother Ashok Punia and younger brother Dinesh Punia were harassing her for the last seven years due to a property dispute.” They had also filed a complaint against her with the Education Department to harass her.
