Ambala: With the upgrade of War Heroes Memorial Stadium in Ambala Cantt, budding players will have the facility of an international stadium. The stadium is being upgraded for Rs 50 crore. A polyturf for football and synthetic track for athletics will be laid, but due to shortage of space, there is no space to lay turf for hockey. Coaches and players seemed unhappy with the upgrade. A coach said ever since the upgrade began, there was no space for players. — Nitish Sharma
