PANIPAT: Two persons were killed in two road accidents in Samalkha on Sunday night. The police handed over the bodies to their families after post-mortem examination.

Two persons were killed in two road accidents in Samalkha on Sunday night. The police handed over the bodies to their families after post-mortem examination.

Inder Singh of Krishna Colony, Samalkha, in his statement to the police, said he, along with wife Anita Devi, son Raunak (10) and daughter Nidhi, were walking down their house.

He said a speeding car coming from Delhi side hit Raunak. The driver managed to flee, he said. Raunak was taken to a private hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

In another incident, 20-year-old Aman of Nangal Kheri village died in an accident on Sunday near Khalila Prahaladpur in Samalkha. — TNS
