A married woman reportedly accused a man of raping her on Thursday night when she was alone at her home at a village in Bhiwani district. 

The victim filed the complaint this morning. She told the police that her husband was not at home when a youth, a resident of the same village, barged into the house and raped her. 

She narrated the incident to her brother-in-law, who then told her husband about it. 

SHO, Siwani police station, Vikram Singh said they had registered a case and started a probe. “A police team has been dispatched to trace the accused,” he said. The woman was taken to the Civil Hospital in Bhiwani for a medical examination. 

Meanwhile, the Charkhi Dadri police have arrested a man, identified as Vikash of the same village, in connection with gangrape of a Dalit girl at a village in Charkhi Dadri district. The victim, a Class XII student, had alleged that she was abducted at knife-point and raped by four youths on Monday night.
