Sacked guest teachers who have been carrying out an agitation campaign in the hometown of Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma, for the past 11 days, have now decided to beg for ‘roti’ by going door-to-door to register their protest against the BJP government which is paying no heed towards their plight.

Mandhir Yadav, district chief of Haryana Atithi Adhyapak Sangh, told mediapersons today, the begging drive would be launched from Rasulpur village on Sunday under which sacked guest teachers would beg for roti from the villagers.

“The drive aims at making the villagers aware about the ‘misdeed’ of the BJP government, which has compelled them to beg. After the termination of our services, we have no option left, but to beg for arranging our two square meals,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Barah Khap chief Suresh Kaunth announced his khap’s support to the protesting teachers.
