Rs22 cr for judges’ houses

CHANDIGARH: Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has accorded administrative approval amounting to Rs 22.18 crore for the construction of 30 multi-storied judicial houses in Sector 8, Faridabad.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has accorded administrative approval amounting to Rs 22.18 crore for the construction of 30 multi-storied judicial houses in Sector 8, Faridabad.

He has also approved the construction of nine houses for judicial officers, three for Additional District Judge and six for chief judicial magistrates at DC Colony, Kurukshetra.

Khattar also accorded administrative approval for the construction of Welfare Centre at the Police Lines, Panipat.

DGP BS Sandhu on Wednesday said 13 such welfare centres had already been established in Ambala Range, Hisar Range, Karnal Range, Rewari Range, Rohtak Range and the Police Commissionerate of Gurugram and Panchkula. — TNS
