Rohtak, October 3

Patients were at the receiving end as resident doctors at PGIMS here on Tuesday went on strike against the alleged misbehaviour by the police with a woman doctor.

The doctor had gone to the police station in connection with a missing newborn case.

PGIMS authorities roped in senior doctors to provide emergency services to the patients.

The protesting doctors said they had to go on strike as the authorities refused to take any step against the alleged misbehaviour by the police.

PGIMS authorities summoned an emergency meeting of its officers to deal with the situation.

The protesting doctors gathered outside the MS office to register their protest.
