Satlok Ashram head Rampal was produced in a Rohtak court amidst tight security here today. The case in which he was produced pertains to a violent clash over Satlok Ashram in Karontha village of the district in which one person was killed and several others were injured in 2006.

Rampal was brought to Rohtak from Hisar jail on production warrants.

District and Sessions Judge Sushil Kumar Gupta fixed January 12 as the next date of hearing in the case. Of the 38 persons accused in the case, 31 appeared in the court while warrants have been issued to the remaining seven.
