A special programme dedicated to legendary poet Pandit Lakhmi Chand was held at the ongoing ‘Ratnawali Mahotsav’ in Kurukshetra University here today.

Students recalled his role in reshaping ‘saang’, a popular folk-dance theatre form in Haryana, and 'raagini'.

College teams narrated folklores of the legendary king Vikramaditya and Bhartari Hari.

Foot tapping group dance performance by over 20 college teams was the main attraction at Ratnawali.

Budding artists staged skits and satirical solo performances on social and political issues.

Senior citizens present among the audience were also given a chance to share funniest experiences of their lives.
