One killed as car falls from flyover

GURUGRAM: An unidentified person was charred to death, while another had a miraculous escape when the car in which they were travelling fell from the flyover on the KMP and burst into flames.

Gurugram: An unidentified person was charred to death, while another had a miraculous escape when the car in which they were travelling fell from the flyover on the KMP and burst into flames. The accident took place near the Farukhnagar Nagar area when the car, after hitting the flyover boundary, fell into the ditch below the flyover. While one person managed to jump out of the car, the other was trapped inside the vehicle that caught fire. The police reached the accident site soon after the accident took place. TNS

Priest found murdered 

Mahendragarh: A priest was found murdered in the district's Kanina town on Wednesday night. His naked body was spotted in a cremation ground near the bus stand. The body bore multiple injury marks. The deceased is yet to be identified. Sources said the police had rounded up two priests in connection with the murder. TNS

Three molest Class VIII student

Sonepat: Three minors of a village under the Jharonth police post on Wednesday allegedly tore the clothes of a Class VIII student. One of them took her photographs on his mobile phone. They reportedly threatened to upload the photographs on social media if she reported the incident to her family or the police. On the complaint of the victim, a case was registered against the three minors, who were absconding. The police said the accused would be arrested soon. TNS

Minor rape victim attempts suicide

Gurugram: A 17-year-old girl reportedly attempted suicide after she was allegedly raped and blackmailed by her employer, a spa owner, here. The victim, a resident of Delhi, consumed poison. On the complaint of the victim's mother, the police registered a case against the accused identified as Sonu Joon under Section 4 of the POCSO Act and arrested him from his spa centre on Wednesday night.
