After grabbing headlines by riding a tractor to reach Parliament to attend the first day of the winter session on Friday against the proposed move of declaring tractor as a common vehicle instead of agricultural in Motor Vehicles Act, MP Dushyant Chautala on Sunday made it clear he has now permission to commute to Parliament on tractor till January 5.
“I have today received permission to go on tractor in Parliament till January 5,” he asserted.
He said that he drove tractor to highlight the issue of the farmers that tractor was an agricultural vehicle, but it was being categorised as common vehicle.
“I have approached Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on this issue, but still no action has been initiated in this regard,” he said.
He was today interacting with media persons at the residence of party general secretary Brij Sharma.
He showed a possibility of the formation of third front before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
“After seeing the current circumstances, possibilities of the formation of third front cannot be ruled out,” he said.
When asked about state government’s ‘Chintan Shivir’ in HP, he said that it was just wastage of money.
The CM along with his Cabinet and some bureaucrats has been enjoying on the hard-earned money of the tax payers. They should have organised such meetings among the people, he said.
“The government is measuring the depth of its failure during the last three years from the height. Instead of promoting Haryana tourism, it has been promoting tourism of neighbouring state,” the MP said.
On the exit polls for Gujarat and HP, he said that he does not trust exit polls but trust on people’s sentiments, which were against the BJP.
While congratulating the Congress’ newly-appointed president Rahul Gandhi, he said that hoped that he would do whatever he could not do while he was the vice-president of the party.
