Mason electrocuted to death

YAMUNANAGAR: A person was electrocuted to death and another was seriously injured in Gumthala Rao village on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Gulab Singh (32) of Gumthala Rao village of the district.

A person was electrocuted to death and another was seriously injured in Gumthala Rao village on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Gulab Singh (32) of Gumthala Rao village of the district.

According to information, Gulab Singh and Salinder (36), alias Kallu, of Sandhali village were working as masons at a temple in Gumthala Rao village.

While working, they reportedly came in contact with an electricity wire. They received serious injuries and were rushed to the trauma centre of the Civil Hospital in Yamunanagar, where Gulab Singh was declared brought dead.

The police have initiated proceedings under Section 174 of the CrPC.
