Rohtak, July 19

Leaders owing allegiance to the INLD and BSP joined the BJP in presence of the saffron party’s state president Subhash Barala and Haryana Minister of State for Cooperatives Manish Grover at the party headquarters here today.

The leaders who joined the BJP today included INLD leader Mahant Satish Das, who had contested for the Meham Assembly seat and BSP leader Dr Kapur Singh, who had contested Lok Sabha election from Ambala. Several Congress supporters Gulshan Dung, Bittu Paruthi, Ritesh Singhpuria, Saurabh Farmana and Jagdish Hooda also joined the BJP.

Barala maintained that the inclusion of these leaders would strengthen the BJP and weaken the Opposition. He claimed that the leaders had joined the BJP unconditionally. — TNS
