Rohtak trader shot at, robbed of Rs1.52 lakh

HISAR: A Rohtak trader was shot at and robbed off Rs 1.52 lakh by two armed youths near Rani Talab in Jind town on Sunday. The incident took place in the afternoon when the victim was going to bus stand after collecting payment from a client in the town.

A Rohtak trader was shot at and robbed off Rs 1.52 lakh by two armed youths near Rani Talab in Jind town on Sunday. The incident took place in the afternoon when the victim was going to bus stand after collecting payment from a client in the town.

According to information, Raju took an auto-rickshaw to reach the bus stand. As the auto-rickshaw reached near Rani Talab, two bike-borne youths waylaid the vehicle and tried to snatch the bag from Raju. When he tried to resist the loot bid, the duo shot him in the leg and escaped.

The injured trader was taken to the Civil Hospital soon after the incident where the doctors referred him to the PGIMS, Rohtak. — TNS
