Several trains cancelled, rescheduled today

AMBALA: The Ambala Division on Saturday announced three blocks — on the Saharanpur-Ambala section from 1.10 pm to 5.10 pm, on Ambala Cantt station from 11.10 am to 3.10 pm and on the Ludhiana-Dhuri-Jakhal-Hisar section from 10.45 am to 2.45 pm on Sunday.

The Ambala Division on Saturday announced three blocks — on the Saharanpur-Ambala section from 1.10 pm to 5.10 pm, on Ambala Cantt station from 11.10 am to 3.10 pm and on the Ludhiana-Dhuri-Jakhal-Hisar section from 10.45 am to 2.45 pm on Sunday.

The strengthening work would result in cancellation, rescheduling and regulation of several trains on the affected tracks and junctions, an official spokesperson said.

He said the Saharanpur-Ambala Cantt passenger would be regulated for 50 minutes, the Delhi-Ambala Cantt passenger for an hour, the Bandra-Jammu Express for an hour, the Sirsa-Ludhiana passenger for 75 minutes and Lokmanya Tilak-Amritsar Express for 100 minutes in Delhi Division and 100 minutes in Ambala Division.

The Delhi-Ambala Cantt passenger would remain partially cancelled between Saharanpur and Ambala Cantt, the Ludhiana-Hisar passenger between Jakhal and Hisar, the Hisar-Ludhiana passenger between Hisar and Jakhal, the Churu-Ludhiana passenger between Dhuri and Ludhiana and the Ludhiana-Churu passenger between Ludhiana and Dhuri.

The Ludhiana-Churu passenger would run 95 minutes late, the Haridwar-Amritsar Janshatabdi Express an hour late, the Haridwar-Sriganganagar Express an hour late and the Ambala Cantt-Kalka passenger an hour late.
