Youth wanted in IAF paper leak case held

JHAJJAR: The police have arrested a youth, identified as Jitender, of Bhaini Chanderpal village, who was wanted in the Air Force paper leak case.

The police have arrested a youth, identified as Jitender, of Bhaini Chanderpal village, who was wanted in the Air Force paper leak case. A case was registered against him at the city police station in Rohtak on September 13, 2018.

An illegal country-made pistol was also recovered from him. The youth carried a reward of Rs 1 lakh on him.

Jhajjar SP Pankaj Nain said Jitender was arrested by a team of the CIA branch from the area of Beri town on getting a tip-off in this regard.

"Two cases had also been lodged against him in Bhiwani on December 11, 2016, and in Yamunanagar on September 10, 2017, in connection with the paper leak of clerks and drivers, respectively. He was out on bail in both cases while was absconding in the Rohtak case," said Nain.
