The police on Sunday arrested a man with 17.30-gm smack. The accused, being interrogated, will be produced in court on Tuesday.
SP Waseem Akram said a police team under the supervision of Mandeep Singh, SHO, city, got information that a man on Sirta road was carrying smack for sale and he could be arrested if a raid was conducted. The police reached the area and nabbed the man later identified as Dayanand of Baba Ladana village.At present, he is living on Sirta road in Kaithal.
On search it was found that he was carrying 17.30-gm smack. The accused was arrested and booked under the NDPS Act.
