A man has been booked by the Farakpur police of Yamunanagar district for concealing facts of a criminal case registered against him to acquire passport and visa while under trial.

On the complaint of Dharampal of Model Town, Yamunanagar, a case was registered against Satinder Pal at Farakpur police station on December 1.

The complainant said five persons, including Satinder Pal, were already booked under several sections of the IPC at Farakpur police station on August 11, 2000.

He said during the proceedings of the said case, Satinder Pal was bailed out by the court in December 2000. After getting bail, he acquired the passport and the visa of a country by concealing the facts of the criminal case.—TNS
