Malwa Express to be extended to Katra beginning June 1

AMBALA: The Railways has decided to extend the 12919 (Indore-Jammu Tawi) and 12920 (Jammu Tawi-Indore) Malwa Express to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, Katra, from June 1.

The Railways has decided to extend the 12919 (Indore-Jammu Tawi) and 12920 (Jammu Tawi-Indore) Malwa Express to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, Katra, from June 1.

As per the release issued by the Railways, the 12919 Indore-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Malwa Express Train will depart from Jammu Tawi at 04:25 pm to reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 06:25 pm the same day. In the return route, the 12920 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Indore Malwa Express Train will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 06:45 am to reach Jammu Tawi at 08:35 am the same day. It will depart from Jammu Tawi at 9 am for its onward journey to Indore.

On its extended portion, the 12919 and12920 Indore-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Indore Malwa Express Train will stop at Bajalta, Sangar, Manwal, Ramnagar Jammu and Kashmir and Udhampur stations en route in both the directions.

The 12919 and12920 Indore-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Indore Malwa Express Train will run as superfast trains between Indore-Jammu Tawi and non-superfast between Jammu Tawi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra.

The passenger train 54652 running between Udhampur and Jammu Tawi will be cancelled from June1, while its return service, 54653 Jammu Tawi-Udhampur passenger train, will be cancelled from June 2.
