Rohtak, September 14

BJP general secretary incharge of Haryana Anil Jain on Friday stated that the party would win all 10 Lok Sabha seats and at least 65 Vidhan Sabha seats in the state next year. He ruled out the possibility of any alliance between the BJP and the INLD in the coming elections.

Addressing a news conference on the sidelines of a meeting of the BJP state executive, Jain maintained that elections for Lok Sabha and state Assembly would be held separately.

The BJP leader decried the Congress for maintaining that Vijay Mallya had met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley before fleeing the country.

In response to a query, Jain stated that action would be taken against Kurukshetra MP Raj Kumar Saini, adding that the matter had been referred to the party’s central leadership.

Regarding the recent episode in the state Assembly involving Congress MLA Karan Dalal, Jain maintained that such a person had no right to enter the Vidhan Sabha, which was the temple of democracy.

He disclosed that on completion of four years of the BJP regime in Haryana, several programmes featuring flagship projects would be organised in the state.

He said lyrical tributes would be paid to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee while Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday would be celebrated as ‘Sewa Divas’.

He said September 29 would be observed as ‘Shaurya Divas’ to mark conduct of surgical strikes. Chief Minister Manohar Lal, Union Minister of State Krishan Pal Gurjar, state BJP president Subhash Barala and other party leaders were present.
