Khattar takes train to Karnal, rides cycle to polling booth

KARNAL: Giving a message to save the environment, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday travelled by train from Chandigarh to Karnal and then rode a bicycle to the polling booth.

Giving a message to save the environment, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday travelled by train from Chandigarh to Karnal and then rode a bicycle to the polling booth. He appealed to people to use bicycles to remain healthy and save the environment. He appealed to people to come out and vote.

“I travelled by Jan Shatabdi to Karnal. I rode an e-rickshaw from the railway station to my office and pedalled to booth 174 to vote,” said Khattar after casting his vote. He said interaction with co-passengers during the journey was lively. “I appeal to people to use bicycles to save the environment,” he said.

Interacting with mediapersons, Khattar exuded confidence of achieving the target of 75 plus seats. “We will achieve our target of more than 75 seats as there is no Opposition in the state, he said.
