Khattar opens ~100-cr projects in Gurugram

GURUGRAM: Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said today that state government had decided to set up an authority for the development of industries on both sides of the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said today that state government had decided to set up an authority for the development of industries on both sides of the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway. The authority would not only ensure the development of the area, but also generate employment opportunities, said the CM.

Khattar was in Pataudi to inaugurate projects worth Rs 100 crore.

“Corruption-free development is my priority. The real estate was notorious in the state for corruption for decades, but here we have the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). We have constituted Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA). The BJP is committed to eradicating corruption and I take the responsibility that nobody will be found indulging in it.”

Rao Inderjit Singh, Union Minister of State, sought announcement for setting up an AIIMS in Rewari. Khattar asked him to aid in getting central clearences. “You go to Delhi every day. Meet Central ministers and if needed, even talk to the Prime Minister for it. I am trying my best. I have also written to JP Nadda, Union Health Minister, in this regard,” he told Rao Inderjit.

Khattar also announced a 50-bed hospital in Farukhnagar. He allotted Rs 15 crore for nine roads in Pataudi, opening of a veterinary dispensary in Baspadampaka village and Nanukhurd, and ‘vyayamshalas’ in seven villages of the constituency. He announced that offices of the Public Health Engineering, Social Justice and Welfare, Employment, Excise, Labour and Sports Departments would be opened at Pataudi.
