The emergency wards of the trauma centre and the labour room in the Karnal Civil Hospital have been partitioned with curtains to ensure privacy and prevent the spread of infections.

- Dr Piyush Sharma, Principal Medical Officer, said a unique look had been given to all emergency wards. More beds have been added to crowded wards.
- Dr Ravinder Sandhu, Additional Senior Medical Officer, Civil Hospital, said a triage protocol had been implemented at the trauma centre to ensure timely treatment to critical patients. Flex boards with colour marking had also been installed.
