Internet services suspended

Sonepat: The district administration has suspended internet services from zero hour Saturday till midnight tomorrow as a precautionary measure in view the rallies of the All India Jat Arakshan Sangharsh Samiti at Jassia village in Rohtak district and the Loktantra Suraksha Manch in Jind.

Sonepat: The district administration has suspended internet services from zero hour Saturday till midnight tomorrow as a precautionary measure in view the rallies of the All India Jat Arakshan Sangharsh Samiti at Jassia village in Rohtak district and the Loktantra Suraksha Manch in Jind. SP Satender Kumar today said that Sonepat being an adjoining district of Rohtak and Jind districts, police personnel have been put on patrol duty and special nakas have been set up on roads leading to Jassia village and Jind from Gohana and other areas of the district.

“Around 1,500 police personnel, including three companies of the Central Armed Police, have been posted on nakas and roads in the district as part of security measures. The district has been put on high alert,” the SP said. Police contingents also held a flag march in Gohana town today to restore confidence among people.—OC
