INLD releases second list of 17 candidates for Haryana elections

CHANDIGARH: On the last day of nominations the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) on Friday released the second list of 17 candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections, scheduled to be held on October 21.

On the last day of nominations the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) on Friday released the second list of 17 candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections, scheduled to be held on October 21.

The party has named 81 candidates and its alliance partner Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has named three candidates so far. INLD has not declared candidates on six seats as of now.

In the second list, the party has fielded former councillor Satinder Toni from Kalka, Suman Siwach from Fatehabad, grandson of former MLA Balwant Mayna, Puneet Mayna, from Rohtak, Kulbir Bamal from Hansi, Ravinder Khokha from Barwala, and Rohtash Jakhar from Ballabhgarh.

Out of 81 candidates, the INLD has given tickets to 15 women.

On the other hand, the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) has released its last list of five candidates today. The party will contest on all the 90 seats. In the last list, the JJP announced that it will be fielding Virender Chaudhary from Nalwa, Dr Shiv Shankar Bharadwaj from Bhiwani and Smarat Yadav, son of former MLA Anita Yadav, from Ateli.
