Meham (Rohtak), October 9

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has termed the Congress and the INLD as “family parties”, claiming that the Congress government led by Bhupinder Singh Hooda was synonymous with corruption, while the (Om Prakash) Chautala regime stood for “goondaism”.

“Earlier, people had to apply at leaders’ durbar for government jobs and transfers, which were up for sale. The BJP government has ended corruption and ‘goondaism’ in Haryana and established the rule of merit that is reflected in the online system for selections, postings and transfers,” Shah said while addressing a public meeting in here on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, former minister Sampat Singh, who quit the Congress, joined the BJP in the presence Shah at the Meham rally.
