Two arrested in dowry cases

Ambala: Two persons have been arrested in separate cases of harassment for dowry. Om Parkash of Pipli in Kurukshetra was arrested in a case registered against him at the Ambala Cantonment police station on November 22, 2018, while Ankit of Fatehpur village in Kaithal was apprehended in a case lodged at the Naraingarh women police station on April 24. A court released Om Parkash on bail and sent Ankit to judicial custody, the police added.  TNS

Proclaimed offender caught 

Ambala: The police have arrested a proclaimed offender (PO), Suresh Kumar of Sultanpur village in Yamunanagar. The police said Suresh was wanted in a criminal case and a court had declared him PO. He would be produced in court on Thursday, the police added. TNS

Two men go missing

Amabala: Two men have gone missing from their homes in the district. Lachhman of Naggal reported that his 35-year-old son Gurcharan had left the house on June 17 but did not return. Similarly, a woman of Parav reported that her husband Darshan Singh had gone missing on June 11. TNS
