Announcing to allocate examination centres of the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) for the candidates in their respective home districts in compliance with the state government’s decision, the Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani (BSEH), stated that the candidates must bring the coloured printouts of their admit cards to the centres and those having black and white copies would not be allowed to take examination.
At a press conference here today, the chairman of the Board Jagbir Singh urged the candidates not to wear jewellery, with an exception of mangalsutra to married women, at the examination centre.
The board is set to hold the HTET examination on November 16 and 17 in which about 2,83,878 candidates will appear at 959 examinations centres in all the districts of the state. The BJP-JJP government has announced to allot the examination centres for the examinees in their respective districts as allotment of inter-district centre has caused much inconvenience to the candidates appearing in different examinations in the past.
The chairman informed that the admit cards had been uploaded on the web portal of the Board. The candidates must download the admit cards in colour as those having the black and white copies will not be allowed to enter the examination centres.
He said that they had taken the measures to curb copying and use of unfair means in the examination. Mobile phones, bluetooth devices, calculator and other gadgets are completely banned inside the examination centre and the jammers will also be installed on all the centres to disable the use of mobile phones. He said that Sikh students could take their symbols of religion inside while passing through the metal detector.
The chairman said that control rooms had been set up at the offices of all the district education officers of the state that would remain directly in contact with the control room at the headquarters of the education board in Bhiwani.
