Kurukshetra: Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced to waive a fine of Rs 1.41 lakh imposed on a medical student from Srinagar. She is a final student in BPS Government Medical College at Khanpur village in Sonepat. The college had imposed a fine as she was unable to pay her college fee. However, in a representation to the CM, she stated that due to violence in her hometown last year, her parents could not deposit the fee in time.  Khattar met the student at Jind last night and announced to waive the penalty on the humanitarian grounds.
