Class X girl kidnapped, rescued

Sonepat: The police have registered a case against three unidentified youths on the charge of kidnapping a 16-year-old girl from outside her school gate in the district's Thana Kalan village. The youths, however, left her near a private school after her brother chased their car. The girl is a student of Class X in a government senior secondary school. Kharkhoda ASP Arpit Jain said the accused would be arrested soon.  TNS

Teacher held for sodomising 2 minors

Panipat: The police have arrested a 41-year-old teacher of a private school for allegedly sodomising two minor brothers, students of Class VIII and V. Police said the accused had been identified as Anil Sharma, a resident of Idgah Colony, and he was teaching in a private school in Model Town.  TNS

Life term for killing son, daughter

Hisar: Additional Sessions Judge DR Chalia has awarded life imprisonment to an auto driver for killing his five-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter in Hansi town in 2016. On March 23, 2016, auto driver Mahabir, a resident of Rohtak, took his son Shubham and daughter Saloni to Hansi and threw them from a flyover before jumping himself. However, the kids died during treatmet, but he survived. TNS

Rapist gets jail till last breath 

Hisar: A local court has awarded life imprisonment till last breath to a 24-year-old youth for raping his minor niece in Hansi.  The police registered a case of rape under the POCSO Act against the youth on August 9, 2017. The girl was staying with her uncle and grandparents after the death of her parents. Later, she gave birth a child at the PGIMS, Rohtak. TNS

Two get life term for murder

Sonepat: A local court on Friday sentenced two persons to life imprisonment in a murder case. The body of Rajender Khokhar, alias Mintu, of Rathoda village in Baghpat district of UP was found near Dipalpur village on January 8, 2017. The police had arrested Kailash of Saroorpur village in Baghpat with a country-made pistol on January 22, 2017. During interrogation, Kailash disclosed that he along with his friend Jagdev, alias Dev, had shot dead his maternal uncle Rajender near Dipalpur over a property dispute. TNS
