Chandigarh, February 11

Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) leader Digvijay Chautala has said campaigning by INLD supremo Om Prakash Chautala wouldn’t make much of a difference.

“Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautala is not running the party. The INLD is being run by those whose strength we all have witnessed in the Jind byelection,” he told mediapersons at the party office here today. “The JJP will never patch up with the INLD,” he said. After the defection of four INLD MLAs to the JJP, Digvijay said it was up to the Congress to decide whether or not to stake the claim for the Leader of Opposition. At present, Digvijay’s uncle Abhay Chautala is the Leader of the Opposition.

He said the JJP was deliberating tying up with the AAP.
