Chandigarh, September 6

In less than a month of forging an alliance with Dushyant Chautala's Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), BSP supremo Mayawati today announced snapping of ties with the party.

In a series of tweets today, Mayawati said that BSP has decided to snap ties with the JJP on the recommendation of its state unit because of unreasonable attitude of the JJP on ticket distribution.

She said that the BSP was a national party and it will now contest elections in Haryana on all the 90 seats on its own.

Notably, the BSP had entered into alliance with the JJP on August 12.

However, before the two parties could go among people, the JJP leader Dushyant Chautala had to postpone all political activities due to death of his grandmother Sneh Lata Chautala.

The two parties had started joint campaign for the upcoming assembly polls in Haryana only a few days back.
