A two-day executive committee meeting of the Haryana BJP unit began in Jind this afternoon. It is for the first time that the party is holding a meeting in the khap land. Jind being centrally located in Haryana is considered important for the state politics.

State BJP president Subhash Barala, while addressing mediapersons in Jind today, said various issues would be deliberated to strengthen the party and promote the achievements of the government in the last three years.

Barala said the party would fight the next Assembly elections under Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and there is no dispute over leadership. Inclusive development, transparency and check on corruption were among the key achievements of the government, he added.

Party sources said the meeting would deliberate on the proper implementation of Central and state government schemes and the role of BJP workers in disseminating information among people.
