9-yr-old’s body found in canal

KAITHAL: The body of a nine-year-old boy was found in a canal near Vajir Kheda village in the district on Tuesday.

The body of a nine-year-old boy was found in a canal near Vajir Kheda village in the district on Tuesday. He was missing for four days.

Villagers saw the body and informed the Kalayat police. After fishing out the body, the police sent out information about the body.

Subash Sharma of Balu village identified the body as that of his son Amit. The body was handed over to the family after postmortem examination. — OC
