Ambala, December 3

A team of the CM’s Flying Squad, Ambala, has impounded seven private buses of Punjab that were plying in Ambala Cantonment without any permit.

These buses belong to different societies of Punjab. Bus operators have been been issued a challan of Rs50,000 each.

It also came to light that some bus operators were carrying permits of other buses that have identical numbers while some had no permits. When asked, they started making excuses. One of the bus operators said since the bus that had permit to ply here had developed a snag, he had to bring another bus.

DSP, CM Flying Squad, Sidharth Dhanda, said, “We had received information that buses from Punjab are plying without permit. A raid was conducted and the buses were impounded. More raids will be conducted in the coming days.”
