Gurugram: It’s been five days and hundreds of people in the Punhana block are living in darkness with no electricity. Around 30 villages are facing a virtual hell to keep their routine life going as electric supply has been hit for the past five days. The disruption is due to a technical snag in the 32 kv Dondal powerhouse. An official of the Nuh electricity department said engineers of the district and some from Faridabad had been camping in the powerhouse for the past five days, but had been unable to detect the snag. They have replaced cables, but the moment eight feeders of power house are switched on, the supply trips after 15 minutes. TNS
