FARIDABAD: The police have arrested three more accused in the gang-rape case that took place in the NIT area recently.

The police have arrested three more accused in the gang-rape case that took place in the NIT area recently.

A police spokesperson said the accused had been identified as Sakil Ahmed, Ashiq and Hari Bhagat. “Sakil and Ashiq are drivers, while Hari runs a shop. Sakil and Hari are married, while Ashiq is unmarried,” he said. Earlier, the police had arrested Ankit, alias Bhoot, in the case. One more accused was still absconding, it was reported.

A minor girl was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by the accused a week ago. She was kept in a house for several hours before being let off by the accused. Earlier also the victim was gang-raped by the accused. — TNS
