3 held for printing fake notes

The district police have arrested three persons for allegedly printing counterfeit currency notes.

Accused Chaman Lal, Sumit and Ramesh Kumar are residents of Panchkula district.

A press release issued by the SP office said the accused had been contacting people and claimed that they had a sophisticated machine to print currency notes.

The accused allegedly stuck deal with several persons.

A police team contacted the accused in the guise of city residents and paid them marked notes. Later, they were arrested.

The police claimed that certain incriminatory materials were recovered and the accused would be interrogated.
