AMBALA: Two patients have been tested positive for swine flu in the district. Both patients are undergoing treatment in Chandigarh.

Two patients have been tested positive for swine flu in the district. Both patients are undergoing treatment in Chandigarh.

Chief Medical Officer Dr Sant Lal Verma said, “So far, two confirmed cases of swine flu have come to light in Ambala and both are stable.”

He said the woman from Garnala village was undergoing treatment at the GMCH-32, while the man from Ambala Cantonment was undergoing treatment at the PGIMER.

“We are yet to get their proper travel history, but they have not come in contact with the infection in Ambala. There is no patient of swine flu in any government hospital in Ambala,” he said. — TNS
