Kaithal, December 13

Additional Deputy Commissioner Capt Shakti Singh found some irregularity during the practical test for recruitment as drivers for Haryana Roadways here yesterday.

He lodged a complaint against a candidate appearing in the test and a clerk of the local Haryana Roadways depot for conniving with him.

Despite the candidate having failed, the clerk allegedly allowed the candidate to go ahead for the next test. Acting on the complaint, the police registered a case.

The candidate was identified as Asha Ram of Kharak Jatan village in Rohtak district and the clerk as Shiv Kumar.

The police started investigation into the case. When the clerk was called for interrogation, some persons came out in his support.

They called on DSP Satish Gautam and SP Astha Modi, claiming that the clerk was being falsely implicated in the case. — OC
