Head Constable dies during poll duty

Panipat: A 44-year-old head constable died during election duty in Panipat on Sunday night. Head Constable Vinod Kumar of Gumar village in Sonepat district was on patrolling duty when he suffered a heart attack. He was taken to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead. His last rites were performed with state honours at his native village on Monday. TNS
