‘Honeypreet in dera captivity’

Chandigarh, September 25

In a new twist to Honeypreet Insan’s disappearance, Bhupinder Singh Gora, former Congress leader from Maur in Bathinda, today alleged that party MLA Harminder Jassi had kept her in hiding in Rajasthan.

Jassi was not available for comment. Gora, who claimed to be a relative of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, claimed that she was in illegal confinement of Dera Sacha Sauda.

Addressing a press conference, he said if Honeypreet was arrested by the Haryana Police, many more members of the sect would land in jail. Fearing startling revelations by Honeypreet, the dera hid her, Gora claimed. — TNS
