Faridabad, December 10

Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda today said that the BJP government in the state had failed to come up to the expectations of people, who now want to get rid of it. He was speaking at a public meeting organised at Kheri Kalan village by Tigaon MLA Lalit Nagar.

Deepender said that the government has adopted policies that were detrimental to social harmony. “It has failed to bring any major project or scheme in the state in its three years of rule. While people are still waiting for their concerns of basic needs such as jobs, housing, power, transport and water supply to be addressed, the government is using public money on events and celebrations,” he added.

The Rohtak MP said the defamation suit filed by Union minister Krishan Pal Gurjar against Lalit Nagar showed how low ruling party leaders have stooped to prevent opposition leaders from exposing corruption and mismanagement. He added the Congress would not be cowed down by such actions.

Lalit Nagar, organiser of the meeting, said he would continue with his drive to expose failures of the government. — TNS
