Y’nagar man dies of dengue

CHANDIGARH:The first dengue death of the year in the city was reported from the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, this week.

The first dengue death of the year in the city was reported from the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, this week. Forty-eight-year-old Tarsem Lal from Yamunanagar, who was admitted to the hospital, died of dengue on August 19.

Meanwhile, two new cases of dengue have been reported from the city, both from the PGI. Nursing students Aditi and Pooja, both residents of Nivedita Hostel, have been reportedly diagnosed with dengue. The number of dengue cases in the city has touched 10.
