We must focus on Mission 2019: Rahul

Dehradun, August 18

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi today called upon party workers in to focus on Mission 2019. He stated this during a brief interaction with party leaders at Jollygrant airport here. Rahul Gandhi was in Dehradun to attend a function at the Doon School, his alma mater.

He said communal forces were trying to disturb the social fabric of the country and the time had come to fight them.

State Congress president Pritam Singh, who led the Congress leaders in welcoming Rahul Gandhi, apprised him of the political scenario in Uttarakhand and the natural disasters, which recently rockedthe state.  Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, Leader of the Opposition Indira Hridyesh, and MLAs were present to welcome Rahul. — TNS
