Aamir Khan seeks time to file reply

Responding to a notice sent by court on a petition alleging that Aamir Khan was promoting homosexuality, the actor’s counsel today sought more time to file a reply. The court adjourned the case to January 17. Last month, advocate Mandeep Kaur had moved a petition alleging that Khan’s conduct on his show “Satyamev Jayate” was in violation of the Supreme Court orders, as he showcased rights of homosexuals. The advocate sought court’s intervention to declare the actor’s act as contempt of court. She also sought an apology from him.
