The Ludhiana Effluent Treatment Society (LETS) displayed the voter list at the District Industries Centre’s office today.
The elections were put off by the director, industries, Raminder Singh, who is also the chairman of LETS, as there were some lapses on the part of the management.
Objections to the voter list will be filed on December 4 and the final list will be displayed on December 5. Candidates can collect nomination papers from the office of the DIC on December 8 and 9 and can submit the papers on December 12. The papers will be scrutinised on December 13.
Valid nominations will be displayed at the office of the GM on December 15 and candidates can withdraw their papers on December 16. The polling will be held from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm at the DIC office on December 19. The result will be declared the same day. The term of the existing LETS executive committee expired on December 20.
