Former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today said the BJP would form the government in the coming Assembly elections. He said every section of society was annoyed with the present Congress government and had decided to vote in favour of the BJP.

He criticised the decision of the state government vide which it had assured to give the land back to Swami Ramdev after four years. He said the government had taken a U-turn on the matter but neither tendered any apology, nor stated whether it would take action against officials who cancelled the lease.

He said the government had not provided any unemployment allowance as promised by it in the election manifesto. Farmers and horticulturists were not getting fertilizers and insecticides. He charged the government of financial mismanagement and said although the state government was getting huge money from the Central Government, the state government was raising loans worth crores of rupees.

He said the BJP had kept the target of winning 50-plus seats in the forthcoming Assembly elections but after seeing the response from delegates of Scheduled Castes, the target of winning seats in the Assembly elections will be 60 plus.
