Applications are being sought for the Vedica Scholars Programme for Women for the Class of 2020. Vedica offers an 18-month, professional certificate in management practice and leadership. Achievement-oriented women with an undergraduate degree and desire to excel professionally can apply.

Seats are filled on a first come first serve basis.

The curriculum has been crafted to meet the expectations of today's employers. With management practice at its core, the curriculum is integrated with modules in liberal arts, communication skills, personal growth and leadership. "We are now in our fourth year and it is tremendous that we have seen so much interest in the programme from young people around the country. Our track record of helping women in this country to sustain a long, successful and meaningful career is very poor. We are trying to correct that; this environment provides a safe space for women to feel confident about having a successful career in the corporate world." Pramath Raj Sinha (Co-founder, Vedica Scholars Programme for Women).

The programme has received a promising response from recruiters for its third batch of scholars. Vedica scholars have been placed in a wide range of sectors including Consulting, Manufacturing, Policy, FMCG, Education and Healthcare across functions such as Finance, HR, Sales & Marketing and Strategy. KPMG, Nestlé, SoulTree, Google, Deloitte, Core Diagnostics, EY, FSSAI, Tata Trusts and Max Group are among the companies that have returned to recruit graduating scholars. Average salaries are over Rs 9 lakh and higher salaries are upwards of Rs 20 lakh.

The next batch commences in August 2019. For more information, please visit www.vedicascholars.com.
