Anushka Ranjan, who made a striking debut with Wedding Pullav released last year, has been working tirelessly for rape victims ever since BETI movement – A Charity For Women started by her mother-social activist, Anu Ranjan, came into existence.

Anushka is extremely sensitive when it comes to social issues related to women and likes giving back to the society and is associated with philanthropic activities at a young age.

Together, Anushka and her mother Anu have been making an attempt to make the best use of social media to reach out to the needy and to create awareness about issues related to women. With each passing day, they are expanding their BETI family. They get inquiries on social networking sites.

Anushka says, “We raise money to get their medical bills covered, take care of their emotional therapy, and also get them a job.” The gorgeous actress is glad about the fact that her industry friends, including Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt among others have come forward to support the noble cause.
